Addendum No. 1 Water Well Rehabilitation and Upgrades
On November 8, 2011, the City Council of the City of Highland Village, Texas, approved on second and final reading Ordinance 2011-1115 granting to Denton County Electric Cooperative, Inc. D/B/A CoServ Electric a non-exclusive franchise to use and occupy rights-of-way within the City for the construction and operation of an electric transmission and distribution system. The franchise addresses operational issues such as permitting and associated approval guidelines, required liability insurance, and compensation to the City for the use of the City’s rights-of-way. The compensation to be paid by CoServ shall be based on a factor $0.005764 per Kilowatt Hour (KWH) of electricity sold to retail customers within the City. The franchise is for a term of 10 years. Ordinance No. 2011-1115 will become effective on February 1, 2012.
